- Coach Walker teaches intervention math and reading, transition, and Geometry, and can be seen in inclusive classrooms.  The 2024/2025 school year is  her 28th year teaching and her 24th at BHS.  She also coaches cross country and teaches reading and creative writing for ACCESS.

- She has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Alabama. 

- She is married to Tim, and they have one son, Zeb (a chemical engineer in Tennessee).  She also has 2 cats.

- She enjoys reading, traveling, watching sports (especially the Boaz Pirates and the Tide), and just enjoying life.
