Ms. Kidd is a 2020 graduate from Plainview High School. She then attended Snead State Community College where she obtained her associate’s degree in special education. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2024 where she got her BS degree in Collaborative Special Education (K-12).

During Ms. Kidd’s time at UA, she was a mentor for CrossingPoints where she supported college students with academics, independent living ,employment ,and social skills. Ms. Kidd will begin her teaching career (2024-2025 academic year) at Corley Elementary where she will be teaching the second and third grade alternate standards class.

Ms. Kidd has two nieces and a nephew who she enjoys spending time with. She also loves to spend time with the rest of her family and dog.
