Mrs. Pendergrass is a school nurse for Boaz City Schools. Her home office is located at Boaz Intermediate School. She is originally from Fort Payne, Alabama and graduated from Fort Payne High School. She attended Northeast Community College, where she earned her degree of health science/nursing as a RN. She previously worked as an OB/GYN nurse before coming to Boaz City Schools in 2019. She and her husband have three children, a son and twin daughters. Her husband is a special education teacher at BMS. Her goal as a school nurse is to ensure student’s health, safety and happiness while they are at school.
